USB Laptop Adapter Dongle release

How do you go about configuring the virtual com setting? Mine was working but its just stopped working

go into device manager
i guess it would be

start/controllpanel/device manager/

once enterd

you see portts (COM and LPT)
enter and mark the device youre using. right click and /options/portsettings/advanced/
and there you change the port settings.

not all puters are the same but once device hardwere manager is found its an easy task.

can use rs232 to usb cable to microtech?

thats what i use. get a good one
i use ATEN now still working fine
have tried

turns out the serial cable i was useing was bad it worked fine


ps are you guys ever going to get rid of the stuiped dongle and have the map store on bord like every other system out there it would be big improvement i think

and bebale to pull and share maps wiht other people

Can everybody tell me why need the adaptor to programming with laptop ? Is there any option to do without it ?
I haven't got time to wait it from Austrialia because I want to starts my car before Christmas.! If you tell me where I find a dealer in EU is grate too!

Why i don't know but it most be inline with the laptop and ECU otherwise you can"t connect !

Hand controller is the only option i you have one .

Am Sure they have 3 days shipping delivering option but you will have to pay for it.

No dealer here around i order everything straight from Australia from Netherlands
