Most of you will have already seen the video 🎥 I made about checking the block alignment on a 13B engine.
On this video, I’ll show you how I dummy assemble a Billet Boss 20B engine to check the bore alignment, make sure the eccentric shaft is perfectly straight, and check the end float before assembling the block for the final time.
There’s quite a few 💰💰 tied up in a billet 20B, and they can be a difficult engine to work with at the best of times 😬 so spending the extra time to triple check everything is time well spent in my opinion.

20B centre stationary gear bearing install 🔧
The longer eccentric shaft, more plates & housings that can move around, more bearings, the same size oil pump as a #13B and the 2 piece shaft with the taper means that there’s a lot more 💩 that can go wrong on a #20B engine 😬
Here’s the best way I’ve found to install the stat gear bearings, along with a few little tricks I do to give those bearings the best chance possible of surviving in a big HP engine 🤞🏼

90% of the broken oem 20b shafts have been down to inproper centre bearing installation. Keep em coming jono 👏
